Welcome to the IMS Research Broadband Access Database. Through this site you will be able to access detailed statistics and forecasts for broadband access subscribers, as well as xDSL and cable modem shipments and revenues. The statistics are provided by major country, and are further consolidated into regional and worldwide totals.

In addition to historical and current year statistics, market forecasts are provided for the next five years. Broadband subscriber figures are sub-divided by reception method which include the following technologies: DSL (ADSL/ADSL2/2+, VDSL/VDSL2, Fiber+VDSL), Cable Modem, FTTP and FTTX+LAN, Leased Line, Broadband Powerline, Broadband Satellite and Broadband Wireless Access (including WiMAX) .

The database also reveals broadband service provider market share information by country. Trends and developments in the market are monitored and statistics updated frequently to reflect changes.

The models used to derive the forecasts are provided, and the Interactive Database option enables the user to see the effects of varying the forecast model parameters.
