IMS Research – Broadband Access Database - Last Update April 17, 2008

Welcome to the IMS Research Broadband Access Database. Through this site you will be able to access detailed statistics and forecasts for broadband access subscribers, as well as xDSL and cable modem shipments and revenues. The statistics are provided by major country, and are further consolidated into regional and worldwide totals.

In addition to historical and current year statistics, forecasts are provided for the next 5 years. The broadband subscribers are sub-divided by reception method, including xDSL, cable, FTTH, FTTB, broadband satellite, powerline carrier and broadband wireless access. The statistics are updated frequently, and commentary is provided on recent changes to each country's broadband infrastructure and broadband modem markets.

The models used to derive the forecasts are provided, and the Interactive Database option enables the user to see the effects of varying the forecast model parameters.

Access to this database is provided on a subscription basis.
