Welcome to the IMS Research Digital Television Database Through this site you will be able to access detailed statistics and forecasts for television households and digital set-top box & iDTV shipments and revenues. The statistics are provided by country, and are further consolidated into regional and worldwide totals.

In addition to historical and current year statistics, forecasts are provided for the next 5 years. The TV households are sub-divided by reception method, and the set-top box statistics show both the type of set-top box (DTH satellite, SMATV, cable, MMDS, DSL and terrestrial), and the level of box features.

The statistics are updated frequently, and commentary is provided on recent changes to each country’s TV infrastructure and set-top box & iDTV markets.

The models used to derive the forecasts are provided, and the Interactive Database option enables the user to see the effects of varying the forecast model parameters.

Access to this database is provided on a subscription basis.
